By car

From the city centre:

Turn up Brownlow Hill and immediately take a right hand turn into Mount Pleasant. Continue along Mount Pleasant until you reach the Metropolitan (Catholic) cathedral. Continue straight on at the traffic lights here up Oxford Street and straight on over the next set of crossroads with traffic lights into Harbord Street. Continue up the hill until another crossroads is reached with Taskers on your left. Turn right here and St Annes is on your immediate left

From the M62:

At the end of the motorway, go straight on into Edge Lane. Continue up Edge Lane until you see a church on the left hand corner of a road. Turn left here (Durning Road) and continue until you reach a 5 way crossroads with traffic lights. Take the nearest right hand turn. Continue up this road until you pass Taskers DIY store on your left hand side and take the next left. Go along this road (Tesco's should be on your right hand side and go straight over the crossroads). St Annes is on your imediate left just after the crossroads.

By bus:

From the city centre:

A number 79 or 79C can be caught from town and will drop you off at Edge Hill Church from where you can walk to St Annes (some will stop by Taskers which is even closer). Alternatively, an 86 will drop you off at Kingsley Road/Upper Parliment Street Junction. Both run on Sundays. To obtain more details and up to date timetabling, please visit the journey planner

To St Bernard's:

By car

From the city centre:

Travel up Upper Parliment Street until you reach the Women's hospital on your left hand side. Turn right here into Kingsley Road. St Bernard's is on the left hand side about halfway down the road.

From Sefton Park:

From the ringroad that encircles Sefton Park, take Sefton Park Road off it. This passes through an ornate gate out of the park with Bellviere School on the opposite left. Go straight on at the traffic lights and continue to the crossroad at the end of the road with traffic lights. There is a large towerblock appartment complex directly opposite on the lefthand side. Turn left here and continue on the road until you reach a roundabout. Take the last exit of the roundabout into Kingsley Road (please note that the right of way as you turn off the roundabout is for the traffic coming from your left). St Bernards is a few hundred metres down the road on the right hand side.

By bus:

From the city centre

A number 86 can be caught from town and will drop you off at Kingsley Road/Upper Parliment Street Junction (just after the Women's hospital) from where you can walk to St Bernards.
